There’s the famous Shakespeare in the Park — the big stage, big-name actors, free to all, famously long lines.
Then there’s the other Shakespeares in the Park — smaller companies, less famous actors, also free, not only in Central Park but in Riverside Park and community gardens around the neighborhood. One of the best things about life in the city.
But few know this Shakespeare in the Park. I spotted him one day when I was snooping down under an overpass where I wasn’t supposed to be. He’s in storage, locked away from public view.
